7OO9 was founded in 2025 as an independent knitwear label exploring the possibilities of color, material, structure, and everyday objects through knitwear as a creative medium.

I find inspiration in everyday life. It could be the color combination of a dish, the form of a plant or animal, a street sign, a symbol, or even a small detail that catches my attention unexpectedly. These seemingly ordinary things can all become starting points for new ideas.

Throughout the creative process, I enjoy experimenting with bold and unexpected color combinations, mixing different materials, and exploring various knitting structures and patterns to discover new possibilities in form and texture. Wool and other animal fibers are also frequently used in my work, bringing natural softness, elasticity, and temperature-regulating properties to each piece, while creating rich textures and layers.

I'm especially drawn to interactive design.

To me, an object doesn't have to serve just one fixed purpose or be used in only one way. Different ways of fastening, tying, or wearing a piece, as well as the choices made by the wearer, can transform its appearance and function.

I hope my creations can be more than just objects to wear. I want people to take part in the experience. When you start experimenting with different combinations, discovering new ways to wear something, or even creating a form that was never originally intended, you become part of the creative process.

At 7OO9, we believe that creativity doesn't end with the design process. It can extend into everyone's everyday life.

We don't want our pieces to be limited by a single style or definition. Instead, we hope everyone can find their own ways of interpreting and expressing them.

The name 7OO9 comes from Rong's birthday and is inspired by the transformation and rearrangement of the word "LOOP," symbolizing an ongoing process of exploration, experimentation, and self-discovery.
